Blackfinch Group has bolstered its leadership team by appointing Harry Penberthy as group head of marketing and Graham Robinson as the newly created strategic distribution director. Penberthy brings two decades of branding experience from Octopus and Triple Point, while Robinson joins with 30 years of expertise spanning pensions and tax-efficient investing. The Cheltenham-based firm currently employs over 150 staff.
Offshore law firm Carey Olsen is expanding its partner ranks, promoting five lawyers effective July 1. The new partners are Shane Westin in the Cayman Islands, Guernsey-based Elliot Aron and Joanna Caen, Jersey’s Lizzie Chamberlain, and Amelia Tan in Singapore. These additions bring the firm’s total partnership count to 94.
In London, Chikara Investments has secured former Schroders group chief executive Peter Harrison as a strategic advisor. Harrison, who led Schroders from 2016 until late 2024, joins the firm to support its growth trajectory and governance standards. CEO James Tollemache cited Harrison’s extensive background in asset management and his leadership roles at the Investment Association as essential assets for the company’s ongoing development.
