The THEAM Quant fund utilizes a systematic UCITS income strategy, employing a dynamic put-writing approach across US and European equities. By integrating a risk-reduction mechanism and a tail-hedging overlay, the product aims to generate recurring income and capital growth even during market volatility. Classified under Article 6 of the EU’s Sustainable Fund Disclosure Regulation, the fund requires a minimum four-year investment horizon. Vincent Berard, head of fund solutions, noted the strategy addresses investor demand for defensive, data-driven income solutions capable of adapting to shifting market regimes.
Separately, M&G Investments has launched the M&G (Lux) Global Strategic Value Fund to provide international clients access to its established value-oriented strategy. Previously limited to UK investors via an open-ended structure, the fund targets undervalued companies poised for price recovery. Shane Kelly leads the management team, supported by co-managers Richard Halle and Dan White.
