David Schwartz migrates XRPL hub to version 3.2.0

The transition to version 3.2.0 involves more than routine maintenance. Under the XLS-0095 standard, the core server binary has been renamed from rippled to xrpld, accompanied by a shift in configuration file naming. Operators migrating from version 3.1.3 must follow specific migration steps to adjust database paths and default configurations to ensure service continuity.

Beyond the rebranding, the release functions as a cleanup operation for the network. It retires amendments active for over two years and introduces fixCleanup3_2_0, a bundle of patches targeting precision, rounding, and validation checks. These fixes specifically address infrastructure for Single Asset Vaults, the Lending Protocol, and permissioned DEX tools. Schwartz, who documented the transition on X, noted that his own hub required slightly more time than the anticipated ten-minute window to shut down safely. He shared performance data from the previous month to illustrate the hub's stability, noting that the only recorded disruptions were likely caused by external network outages rather than ledger-side failures.
