XRP Eyes $1.30 as Market Probes Sustainability of Recent Rebound

The current climb from the $1.25 level represents a modest recovery, yet it remains far from erasing the 16% decline recorded throughout October. Reversing such a loss requires a gain of nearly 19%, making the shift toward $1.30 a positive development for short-term sentiment rather than a total trend reversal. Market participants are watching the interaction between price and volume closely; a move supported by consistent spot buying carries more weight than a brief spike through a thin order book.

Institutional demand remains a complex variable. While US spot XRP ETFs saw $18.83 million in net inflows during October, the start of November brought a slight cooling with $529,510 in net withdrawals on November 2. These flows offer a limited view of the broader market, as they track only one specific investment channel. Similarly, Ripple’s scheduled release of 1 billion XRP from escrow on November 1 provides liquidity but does not equate to immediate selling pressure. Much of that supply may be re-locked or held in internal wallets, making it vital to track specific wallet movements rather than assuming the entire release hits exchanges.

Ultimately, a durable rally requires more than price action. It demands a sustained return of net ETF subscriptions, healthy spot liquidity, and evidence that institutional custody expansion—such as BNY’s recent integration—is translating into actual asset acquisition. Traders are now balancing these indicators against macroeconomic signals, including the upcoming November 6 employment report, which will likely influence risk appetite across the crypto sector.
