To align with the city-state's rigorous oversight, the platform is currently integrating mandatory local security protocols, including Singpass MyInfo verification and two-factor authentication. Valentina Rzheutskaya, executive director at Capital.com, noted that the licensing process confirms the firm’s commitment to high standards of governance and client asset protection.
To lead this expansion, the company has appointed Tony Lim as CEO and executive director of the Singapore entity. Lim brings over three decades of regional experience, having held senior positions at the Singapore Exchange, DBS Vickers Securities, and most recently, IG Asia. His team is now building out local infrastructure across compliance, operations, and marketing to support the firm’s long-term growth strategy in the region.
