NYSE Parent ICE Partners With Trade[XYZ] for Regulated Perpetual Futures

NYSE Parent ICE Partners With Trade[XYZ] for Regulated Perpetual Futures

The proposed venue will allow traders to access perpetual contracts tied to equities, indices, commodities, and foreign exchange outside of standard market hours. While perpetual futures have become a staple for crypto liquidity, their application to traditional assets remains largely inaccessible to American investors. ICE intends to provide its institutional expertise in clearing, risk management, and regulatory compliance, while trade[XYZ] contributes the underlying technology built on the Hyperliquid protocol.

Strategic Market Integration

Financial backing for the initiative includes a strategic investment from ICE and support from billionaire investor Stan Druckenmiller. Trade[XYZ] has demonstrated significant growth, recording over $650 billion in cumulative trading volume since October 2025. By leveraging Hyperliquid’s HIP-3 infrastructure, the platform has already begun expanding into global indices, including recent perpetual futures for India’s NIFTY 50. The success of these offerings underscores a growing demand for continuous price discovery, a gap the new U.S. entity aims to fill through a regulated framework. As the CFTC reviews the proposal, both companies plan to finalize details regarding customer eligibility, product specifications, and the formal launch timeline.
