Visa Stablecoin Settlement Volume Hits $25 Billion Annualized

The company’s shift into digital assets is moving beyond retail applications, with commercial services now taking center stage. Visa currently supports five stablecoins—USDC, USDG, EURC, PYUSD, and Brale’s SBC—while maintaining a pipeline of over 300 prospective partners. This infrastructure growth is mirrored in the consumer space, where stablecoin-linked card programs have surged past 225, serving roughly 5 million cards across 50 countries.

Operational flexibility remains a core pillar of this strategy. By allowing financial institutions to choose assets based on their specific treasury requirements, Visa has moved beyond mere experimentation. A recent pilot with Lloyds Corporate Markets Jersey saw a $750,000 USDC transfer completed in under an hour, bypassing the limitations of conventional banking hours. This capability is now transitioning into production via Visa Direct, which launched commercial USDC prefunding with Inyo Global to facilitate international business payments.
