Binance Expands TradFi Derivatives With Four New Perpetual Contracts

The new listings—EIDOUSDT, EQTUSDT, STMUSDT, and ABBVUSDT—enable speculation on equity price movements without the need to hold underlying shares. Each contract settles in Tether and requires a minimum trade value of 5 USDT. While these derivatives provide continuous access, they remain subject to margin requirements and funding payments settled every eight hours, with rates capped at 2%.

This expansion aligns with a broader industry trend of integrating real-world assets into crypto derivatives platforms. Recent data from Pyth Network highlights significant growth in this sector, with daily open interest for real-world-asset perpetuals hitting a record 12.61 billion dollars on September 30. Binance continues to aggressively broaden its TradFi lineup, having previously introduced contracts for semiconductor ETFs and U.S. Treasury funds earlier this year. Despite the uptick in product availability, the exchange has not disclosed current volume figures specific to these newly added equity-linked instruments.
