The network’s native token, SUI, climbed 4.43% to $1.23 as investors monitored a critical technical threshold at $1.27. Analyst Ali Martinez has flagged this level as a potential trigger for a bullish breakout, noting that the asset has repeatedly formed consolidation channels. Meanwhile, trader Celal Kucuker suggested that if a current bull flag pattern clears resistance this month, the price could climb toward $2, though he cautioned that more ambitious long-term projections depend on broader market cycles.
Mysten Labs is anchoring this growth strategy in two primary pillars: stablecoins and autonomous AI agents. Since August 2025, the Sui network has processed over $1 trillion in stablecoin transfers, bolstered by the launch of the native USDsui stablecoin via Stripe-owned Bridge. This infrastructure supports gasless transactions, a feature designed to lower barriers for peer-to-peer payments. Beyond consumer finance, Sui is collaborating with Google on the Agent Payments Protocol (AP2). This initiative seeks to standardize how AI software initiates payments and verifies data, positioning the blockchain as a backend for automated economic activity. Despite a volatile history in total value locked, the foundation maintains that high-volume payment throughput and institutional adoption remain the core metrics for the network's future.
