Stina Norrhede, formerly the head of professional family office at Sweden’s SEB, will lead the new division. Her appointment signals an aggressive push to provide tailored support to the region’s sophisticated investor base, which Eirik Winter, CEO of BNP Paribas Group in the Nordic region, describes as a unique ecosystem driven by a deep-rooted culture of innovation.

This expansion follows a broader trend of restructuring within the bank’s global footprint. While divesting its Monaco wealth clients to CFM Indosuez last year, BNP Paribas has simultaneously bolstered its German presence through the acquisition of HSBC’s local private banking operations. The firm’s wealth management arm currently represents a significant portion of its overall financial health, managing 543.4 billion euros as of mid-year 2025 within the bank’s broader investment and protection services division.
