Hamilton has dismissed the legal threat, continuing to circulate the advertisement on social media. His campaign spokesperson, Tyson Brody, characterized the letter as an act of desperation, asserting that the ad highlights a legitimate pattern of behavior. Reports indicate that over the course of his medical career, Marshall’s office sued more than 700 patients for unpaid bills, with at least 81 individuals arrested for failing to appear in court regarding these debts. Former patient Kellie Clutts also recently shared similar experiences, describing how a relatively small debt resulted in the garnishment of her bank account.
