Leadership Shifts at Janus Henderson and Amundi

At Janus Henderson, Helen Jewell steps into the role of head of EMEA and Asia-Pacific equities on December 1, succeeding Lucas Klein as he concludes a three-decade career. Jewell arrives from BlackRock, where she served as international chief investment officer for fundamental equities. Simultaneously, the firm announced that Shilpee Raina will take the helm of the Janus Henderson Forty fund and the Transformational Growth ETF starting January 2027. Raina, formerly a co-portfolio manager at JP Morgan Asset Management, will operate from New York alongside Brian Recht, replacing the outgoing Nick Schommer.

Meanwhile, European giant Amundi has overhauled its Clients Group with five key leadership appointments. Francesca Ciceri takes charge of the international institutional clients division, while Alexandra Van Gyseghem moves to lead the French institutional clients unit. The firm also elevated Thierry Ancona to vice-chair, tasked with supervising the distribution and wealth division. Rounding out the changes, Isaure Chabannes Wright assumes the role of global head of ETF sales and digital distribution, and Thomas Pietri is appointed head of distribution for France.
