Mirova Restructures Executive Leadership for Global Expansion

Led by CEO Léa Dunand-Chatellet, the newly formed committee features a mix of internal veterans and external hires designed to sharpen the firm’s operational execution. Candice Brenet joins the team as deputy CEO and chief strategy and transformation officer, arriving with an extensive background in financial institution leadership and private markets. This appointment is intended to provide a fresh perspective as the firm navigates maturing market dynamics.

Karen Kharmandarian, who stepped into the role of chief investment officer for listed assets following the January 2026 merger, rounds out the leadership changes. He assumes responsibilities previously held by Hervé Guez, who will remain with the firm through September to facilitate the transition. The committee also includes Laurence Willig as deputy CEO and chief finance and governance officer, alongside heads of private assets, business development, and sustainability. Dunand-Chatellet noted that this strengthened governance structure is essential for meeting rising investor expectations and delivering impact at scale as the company enters its next growth phase.
