Nicolas Porchet Named Managing Partner at Bordier & Cie

Porchet brings over 25 years of banking experience to his new position, having previously held roles at institutions including J Safra Sarasin, Lombard Odier & Cie, Pictet & Cie, and Credit Suisse. His tenure at Bordier & Cie has been defined by his oversight of business development and his pivotal role in establishing the bank’s new office in Lausanne. Fluent in French, English, and Mandarin, he holds both CFA and CAIA designations.

Grégoire Bordier, senior managing partner, described the appointment as a strategic step to preserve the firm’s core values and long-term identity. Founded in 1844, the bank remains an independent, family-owned institution managed by the fifth generation of its founders. It currently maintains a global footprint across six countries, with Swiss operations spanning Geneva, Bern, Nyon, Lausanne, and Zurich, alongside international offices in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
