Bitmine Nears Ethereum Ownership Goal Amid Bullish Year-End Forecast

The company’s latest acquisition, valued at approximately $15 billion based on a $2,513 per-token price, solidifies its position as a dominant holder of the asset. Beyond pure accumulation, Bitmine has staked 5.07 million ETH—roughly 85% of its holdings—through its internal MAVAN platform. This staking operation generated a seven-day annualized yield of 2.62%, signaling a strategic shift toward extracting recurring revenue from its massive digital reserves.

Chairman Tom Lee remains optimistic about the market’s trajectory, pointing to the upcoming U.S. Senate vote on the CLARITY Act as a critical catalyst for institutional demand. Lee argues that the legislation, which aims to clarify digital asset oversight and regulatory roles, could provide the necessary framework to stabilize the sector. Alongside legislative developments, Lee noted a resurgence in Korean investor interest as a potential driver for a year-end rally, suggesting that the broader four-year crypto cycle is nearing a definitive bottom. Market adviser Tom DeMark echoed this sentiment, citing recent technical patterns that imply a pending upward movement for Ethereum in the coming weeks.
