Anthropic Pushes IPO Roadshow to October Amid $2 Trillion Valuation Talk

The company is currently finalizing a $15 billion revolving credit facility, a move that precedes the formal filing of its registration documents. While Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup are assisting with the offering, each firm has declined to comment on the proceedings. The credit line is intended to support the company’s heavy capital expenditure on computing infrastructure, which includes massive capacity agreements with providers like Meta, Lambda, and Nscale to power its Claude models.

Market expectations for the IPO have intensified, with some investors projecting a valuation as high as $2 trillion. This figure significantly exceeds the $965 billion post-money valuation recorded during the company's May financing round. However, analysts note that private-share trading and tokenized pre-IPO futures often lack the liquidity and regulatory rigor of a public debut, meaning these estimates remain speculative. Once the prospectus is released, it will provide the first official look at the firm's financial health, management structure, and the specific terms of the offering as reviewed by the Securities and Exchange Commission.
