Bitcoin ETFs surge with $731 million inflow

BlackRock’s IBIT led the market recovery, securing $454 million in new capital—more than 60% of the day’s total intake. This performance follows a volatile period where the same fund saw $201 million in redemptions on September 1. Following BlackRock, ARK Invest and 21Shares’ ARKB captured $138 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC added $74 million. Only VanEck’s HODL and WisdomTree’s BTCW finished the session in the red, with minor outflows of $20 million and $5 million respectively.

The influx pushed total net assets across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs to $103.34 billion, representing roughly 6.32% of Bitcoin’s total market capitalization. This volume dwarfs recent activity, tripling the daily average seen during the 11-day winning streak in late August. Market analysts note that this buying pressure coincides with a broader price rebound, as funds traded between 5.7% and 5.9% higher during the session. Institutional interest remains concentrated in IBIT, which continues to anchor the sector’s liquidity despite intermittent periods of profit-taking.
