The survey, which polled 100 senior executives across the UK, US, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, and Switzerland, points to a clear consensus: the ten-fold increase in compute power currently deployed by the five largest US model developers is a catalyst for historic productivity gains. Jonathan Cohen, founder and CIO at Robocap, noted that some developers are ramping up training capacity by as much as 30 times compared to previous iterations, driving rapid weekly advancements.
Market expectations for the long term remain aggressive. The study projects that AI’s contribution to global growth will climb to an average of 30 percent within three years, with one in five respondents anticipating that figure could reach 40 percent or higher. While marketing and sales are expected to see the earliest disruption, sectors like law, finance, and accounting are also slated for significant transformation. Conversely, real estate and utilities are viewed as the industries least likely to face immediate disruption from automation.
