Nomura’s Laser Digital Partners With Keyring for Institutional DeFi

Nomura’s Laser Digital Partners With Keyring for Institutional DeFi

The collaboration centers on creating permissioned lending and borrowing environments that mirror the reliability of conventional fixed income instruments. Laser Digital will serve as the risk governor, establishing standards for portfolio structuring and governance. Meanwhile, Keyring Network provides the technical layer, handling access verification, quantitative risk modeling, and liquidation design through its zero-knowledge permissioning technology.

While the firms have confirmed that the inaugural products are ready for deployment on Euler Finance, they have withheld specifics regarding launch timelines, fee structures, or committed capital. This project follows a broader strategy for Laser Digital, which recently partnered with ZIGChain to develop private credit and stablecoin services. For Euler, the integration builds on its existing support for tokenized assets, such as BlackRock’s BUIDL fund and VanEck’s VBILL, which have already utilized the protocol’s modular architecture to facilitate institutional borrowing. By combining cyber insurance, onchain settlement, and strict oversight, the partners intend to move beyond the speculative nature of current crypto lending, targeting assets that function more like traditional debt instruments.
