Ripple and SettleMint Partner to Target Asia-Pacific Tokenization

Ripple and SettleMint Partner to Target Asia-Pacific Tokenization

The collaboration aims to replace fragmented workflows by merging Ripple Custody—which provides self-custody controls, hardware security module support, and approval workflows—with SettleMint’s DALP. This integration allows banks and market operators to handle everything from initial token issuance and compliance to settlement and post-issuance servicing within a single governed environment. By consolidating these functions, the companies intend to help institutions transition from pilot testing into full production without managing disparate technology stacks.

While the partnership is currently live for regional outreach, specific details regarding participating clients, contract values, or supported blockchain networks remain undisclosed. The companies have not confirmed whether the service requires usage of the XRP Ledger or native assets like XRP and RLUSD. This expansion follows a series of recent infrastructure additions by Ripple, including the acquisition of Palisade and partnerships with Securosys and Figment, all aimed at bolstering institutional digital asset capabilities. For now, the integration serves as a technical foundation for regional players already exploring tokenized bonds and funds, such as ongoing experiments in Singapore and South Korea.
