LinqAlpha Launches AI Lab to Tackle Institutional Investment Trust

The Lab will focus on the practical application of large language models, specifically addressing the industry’s struggle to reconcile rapid technological deployment with rigorous governance standards. As banks and hedge funds integrate AI into their research and trading processes, the company aims to provide the validation frameworks necessary to ensure these systems function reliably across diverse, highly regulated regional environments like Singapore and Hong Kong.

Jacob Chanyeol Choi, co-founder and co-CEO of LinqAlpha, identifies trust as the primary bottleneck for AI in the front office. By prioritizing open, peer-reviewed research, the firm intends to move beyond mere model capabilities toward measurable, governable reasoning. This initiative supports the company’s broader strategy of scaling its services, which currently assist over 70 institutions managing a collective $5 trillion in assets. Through the new Lab, LinqAlpha plans to formalize collaborations with universities and local industry partners to bridge the gap between experimental AI and mission-critical financial decision-making.
