Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Surge with $2.6 Billion Weekly Inflow

Bitcoin and Ether ETFs Surge with $2.6 Billion Weekly Inflow

The influx marks a dramatic shift in market sentiment, recovering from a $391.96 million outflow observed during the previous week. Bitcoin funds spearheaded the rally, securing $1.92 billion—roughly 73% of the total weekly intake. BlackRock’s IBIT led the pack, contributing $239 million on Friday alone, pushing its cumulative net inflows to $62.43 billion. By the close of the week, total net assets across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs reached $96.07 billion, equivalent to 6.17% of the asset's total market value.

Ether ETFs mirrored this momentum, capturing $697.47 million over the same period. The category saw inflows every day, with BlackRock’s ETHA securing $151 million in the final session. This performance comfortably eclipsed the total inflows recorded by Ether products for the entirety of July. The surge in ETF demand coincided with a broader market rally that saw Bitcoin surpass $76,000 and Ether climb above $2,400. While some analysts, including LVRG Research Director Nick Ruck, previously cautioned that isolated strong days might not reflect structural shifts, the sustained five-day streak of positive flows suggests a more resilient trend in institutional participation.
