Progeny Group Taps David Miller as CFO

Miller arrives at Progeny with over two decades of financial sector experience across consumer finance, banking, and payment systems. His previous tenure includes seven years as group CFO at Car Finance 247, where he managed wide-ranging financial and commercial functions. Before that, he served as financial director at The Co-operative Bank, steering the institution through a £700 million recapitalization while managing key regulatory relationships.

His career history also features senior finance roles at Barclays, Lloyds Banking Group, and VocaLink. Group CEO Tom Wood highlighted Miller’s track record in transformation and growth, noting that his expertise will support Progeny’s focus on strengthening internal capabilities and client outcomes. Since its founding in 2016, the firm has operated an integrated model combining chartered financial planning, tax, legal, and asset management services.
