Rick Parish Launches Mazavida to Combat Global Water Bankruptcy

The launch arrives as the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health warns of a global era of water bankruptcy. With drought-related losses costing $307 billion annually, Mazavida aims to bypass the slow timelines of conventional projects by utilizing containerized systems. These units are engineered to produce potable water in disaster zones, drought-affected regions, and industrial areas across the EMEA region and beyond.

Parish, who chairs both Kinetic7 and Aquarius Capital, describes the venture as a response to water evolving from a development challenge into a primary geopolitical risk. By integrating proprietary design with the manufacturing reach of Dallas-based PIF Energy, the company maintains control over the entire deployment cycle. This approach provides municipalities and governments with a scalable alternative to traditional, long-tail infrastructure investments, prioritizing speed and flexibility in locations where water security is critical for economic and human stability.
