Kalshi Integrates Live Order Book Data Into DoubleZero Edge Network

Kalshi Integrates Live Order Book Data Into DoubleZero Edge Network

The partnership, announced August 12, allows subscribers to receive top-of-book and depth-of-book information in a machine-readable format optimized for automated hedging and trading systems. DoubleZero utilizes multicast distribution over dedicated fiber to ensure simultaneous data delivery, mirroring infrastructure models used by traditional exchanges like the CME and Nasdaq. While the companies have not disclosed specific latency benchmarks or subscription costs, Kalshi has committed to waiving its publisher revenue share for the first year of the service.

Infrastructure and Market Expansion

Austin Federa, co-founder of DoubleZero, noted that the move addresses a structural gap in emerging markets, which previously lacked the private, high-speed data architecture standard in traditional finance. For Kalshi, the feed covers its full range of sports events and crypto perpetual futures, the latter of which launched in June following approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. The integration arrives amid significant growth in the sector, with prediction market volumes hitting $50.59 billion in July, of which Kalshi accounted for roughly $37.7 billion. Despite the technical rollout, legal challenges persist; Kalshi remains embroiled in state-level disputes regarding the classification of its sports contracts, even as it maintains federal status as a designated contract market.
