Dow Protocol Secures $10.5 Million to Streamline E-Commerce Financing

The capital injection, led by a coalition of crypto-focused investors including MH Ventures, Mapleblock, and Animoca Brands, aims to advance a PayFi real-world asset structure. Unlike traditional lending, which often involves months of underwriting and manual processing, Dow Protocol leverages platform-integrated data to assess credit risk and provide funding within seconds. Repayments are automated, with funds deducted directly from merchant balances as marketplace payouts arrive.

By utilizing programmable loan terms on-chain, the protocol replaces traditional administrative overhead with automated settlement and accounting. This approach targets a $2.8 trillion global working capital market, positioning the project among a rising wave of blockchain ventures that prioritize the tokenization of commercial receivables over speculative crypto-backed lending. The funding arrives as on-chain real-world asset activity gains momentum, with CoinShares reporting that RWA deposits reached $7.4 billion in the second quarter of 2026, even as broader decentralized finance markets faced a contraction.
