Bitcoin Climbs as Market Shrugs Off Cramer’s Quantum Exit

Cramer’s exit strategy remains unverified, as he has disclosed neither the size of his holdings nor any proof that a sale has occurred. The market’s resilience suggests traders are prioritizing immediate price action over the theoretical risks posed by future quantum technology. While IBM and Google researchers have explored the potential for quantum machines to compromise current cryptographic standards, such systems do not yet exist at the scale required to threaten the Bitcoin network.

Data from Glassnode indicates that approximately 1.92 million BTC, or 9.6% of the circulating supply, are structurally exposed to potential future quantum attacks due to visible public keys. Despite these long-term concerns, Bitcoin’s current price action remains trapped in a familiar range. The asset moved between an intraday low of $62,387 and a high of $64,117, signaling consolidation rather than a decisive trend. Market participants are now watching the $65,000 to $67,000 resistance zone, as a sustained breach of this level is necessary to validate a recovery. Meanwhile, spot market liquidity continues to thin, with daily volume across major exchanges reportedly hitting its lowest point of the year.
