Executive Appointments: Investor Pointe, Walkers, and M&G

Investor Pointe has named Manfredi Bargioni as its new chief client officer, tasking him with overseeing global client success operations from London. A former co-founder of Untap and veteran of Citigroup and UBS, Bargioni will manage a regional leadership team spanning EMEA, APAC, and the Americas to support private markets firms. CEO Scott Hofmann noted that the appointment is central to the firm's growth strategy as it scales its multi-jurisdictional technology platform.

At the legal and professional services firm Walkers, Muriel Marseille has stepped into the role of chief compliance officer. Bringing over 25 years of industry experience, including a tenure as chief risk officer at Ashurst Perkins Coie, Marseille is charged with enhancing global governance frameworks. She succeeds Tui Iti, who is transitioning to the firm's professional services arm to support its expansion following a recent co-investment deal with Vitruvian Partners.

Meanwhile, M&G’s infrastructure investment arm, Infracapital, has secured John Bruen to lead the business effective September 1. Bruen joins from HIG Capital, where he spearheaded the launch of a $1.3 billion infrastructure fund. He takes the helm from co-founder Martin Lennon, who is retiring after a 36-year career in the industry. Emmanuel Deblanc, chief investment officer for private markets at M&G, stated that Bruen’s track record in infrastructure investment makes him the ideal candidate to guide the division as demand for essential infrastructure projects across Europe continues to rise.
