François Jerphagnon, a 25-year veteran of the firm who established its mid-market expansion strategy, will succeed Mathias Burghardt as CEO of Ardian France. Marion Calcine, currently chief investment officer for infrastructure, is set to become executive president of the regulated French entity. Both will join the group’s executive committee, pending formal confirmation at the general meeting in May 2027.
These changes allow Mathias Burghardt to relinquish his group-level executive duties to focus exclusively on the infrastructure platform he founded in 2006. He remains chair of the infrastructure management committee, overseeing a division that now manages $45 billion in assets across Europe and the US. Further bolstering the local leadership, Marie-Victoire Rozé joins the Ardian France executive board, serving alongside existing members Stéphanie Bensimon and Thibault Basquin.
