Fasanara Capital and TEAM Announce Key Strategic Appointments

Hylands joins Fasanara Capital to lead the firm’s newly established Fasanara AI Lab, tasked with embedding next-generation capabilities into the company’s proprietary technology stack. His appointment follows his tenure at Man Group, where he directed generative AI strategy for the firm’s discretionary division. Francesco Filia, CEO of Fasanara, emphasized that the move aligns with the firm’s focus on systematic innovation and alternative data. This expansion coincides with the firm’s recent office opening in Italy and the addition of Anuraj Dua and Marieke de Roo to its leadership ranks.

Simultaneously, TEAM has bolstered its governance with the appointment of John Cusins as an independent non-executive director. Cusins brings a track record of scaling assets, most notably his role as a co-founder of Lumin Wealth Management, which he grew from £12 million to £1.4 billion in assets before its sale to VZ Group. Mark Clubb, executive chairman of TEAM, noted that Cusins’ experience in capital allocation and corporate transactions will be instrumental as the group pursues further international growth and strategic scaling.
