DeFi aggregator Odos to shut down services by July 30

DeFi aggregator Odos to shut down services by July 30

The shutdown process follows a strict timeline. New account registrations, wallet creation, and limit orders were disabled on July 23. By July 27, the application will shift to a read-only state, barring further swaps. After the July 30 deadline, all APIs, support, and development work will terminate. The company provided no specific reason for the closure, noting only that the decision followed significant deliberation.

Users who utilized external self-custody wallets to interact with the protocol retain full control, as Odos functions as a routing service that does not hold user funds. However, those who established wallets via social or email logins must act immediately to export private keys or transfer assets. The team explicitly warned users against potential scams, emphasizing that no token migration or airdrop will occur. Any future developments regarding the ODOS token or the independent DAO remain separate from the company's exit, with no transition plans currently in place.

Developed by Semiotic Labs, the aggregator had reached significant scale, with DefiLlama data indicating cumulative volume nearing $102.5 billion and 30-day volume around $1.58 billion. Despite this activity, the protocol joins a growing list of crypto entities exiting the market in 2026. Users are advised to avoid links claiming to support a relaunch, as the company has confirmed there is no acquirer or successor.
