Binance Adds Across, Lisk, and Stacks to Monitoring Watchlist

Binance Adds Across, Lisk, and Stacks to Monitoring Watchlist

The change, effective July 24, 2026, flags these projects as carrying higher volatility and operational risk compared to other assets on the platform. While the designation does not halt spot trading or related services, it signals that Binance is evaluating whether the tokens continue to align with its compliance requirements. The exchange monitors factors such as team commitment, smart contract stability, and tokenomics to determine if an asset remains suitable for its marketplace.

Market response was immediate following the announcement. Stacks (STX) experienced the most significant pressure, falling roughly 10.4% to $0.150, while Across Protocol (ACX) saw a more modest decline of 2.6% to $0.041. Lisk (LSK) traded near $0.085 as investors processed the news. Each of these projects has undergone significant shifts recently: Across Protocol introduced a restructuring plan involving potential equity in a U.S. entity, Lisk migrated to the Optimism Superchain, and Stacks continued expanding its Bitcoin-based smart contract ecosystem. Binance has not provided a specific reason for the individual additions, nor has it established a timeline for future delisting decisions, noting only that projects may eventually have the tags removed if conditions improve.
