Ondo Finance Clears FINRA Hurdle for U.S. Tokenized Securities

The new permissions cover a broad scope of financial activities, including over-the-counter transactions, primary offerings, and private placements. By leveraging omnibus account structures, Oasis Pro Markets aims to let investors and registered investment advisers access tokenized products through existing financial infrastructure, removing the friction of separate platform accounts. The framework supports settlement in both fiat currencies and stablecoins, enabling transfers between blockchain wallets.

Following the October 2025 acquisition of Oasis Pro, Ondo now controls an SEC-registered broker-dealer and an alternative trading system. This infrastructure allows the company to manage capitalization tables on-chain and facilitate collateral movement. While the firm recently introduced tokenized versions of BlackRock’s iShares Core S&P 500 ETF and Micron shares, it maintains that these authorizations provide the necessary compliance framework rather than an immediate lift on all product restrictions. Market participants are watching the ONDO token closely as it tests resistance near $0.42, trading above its major moving averages despite a minor 3% dip over the last 24 hours.
