Fasanara Capital and William Blair Expand Investment Strategies

Fina, the embedded finance platform under the Saudi group SILQ, will deploy the $75 million capital injection to provide working capital directly through digital merchant platforms. By integrating financing into existing business tools, the firm aims to streamline liquidity for small and medium-sized enterprises, a key objective of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. Fina has already deployed SAR1.5 billion over the past year and expects to reach SAR3 billion for more than 2,000 businesses in the current cycle. Fasanara Capital, which manages roughly $6 billion in assets, continues to focus on providing private credit to technology-enabled lenders.

Simultaneously, William Blair has introduced the Global Leaders Select Strategy, focusing on a curated selection of 25 to 35 high-quality global companies. Managed by Hugo Scott-Gall and newly appointed co-portfolio manager Chandan Khanna, the strategy leverages a track record developed by Khanna since 2021. This move expands William Blair’s Leaders platform, which prioritizes competitive advantages and earnings growth across international and emerging markets. The new portfolio operates without benchmark constraints, emphasizing long-term compounding through active management.
