Revolut hits $115 billion valuation in secondary share sale

Revolut hits $115 billion valuation in secondary share sale

The deal does not inject fresh capital into the company but serves as a clear benchmark for its meteoric growth. In less than a year, the firm’s valuation has climbed 53% from the $75 billion mark established in late 2025. This rapid ascent is underpinned by robust financial performance, with the company reporting $6 billion in revenue and $2.3 billion in pre-tax profit for the 2025 fiscal year.

Expansion remains the primary driver of this momentum. With over 75 million customers globally, Revolut is aggressively scaling its regulated banking and crypto infrastructure. The firm secured a full U.K. banking license in March 2026 and is currently navigating the application process for a U.S. national bank charter. Simultaneously, its international crypto footprint is widening, bolstered by a MiCA license in Cyprus and recent in-principle approval from Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority. Despite the valuation leap, CEO Nik Storonsky has indicated no plans for an initial public offering before 2028, opting instead to continue building out the platform’s diverse product lines while remaining privately held.
