Wealth Management Firms Bolster Regional Hubs with Senior Hires

LGT Wealth Management has recruited Richard Brown as a wealth manager in its Leeds office. Bringing nearly four decades of expertise from stints at Union Bancaire Privée and Kleinwort Hambros, Brown will focus on growing the firm’s northern client base. His arrival coincides with the appointment of trainee Keane Denby, signaling a dual focus on seasoned leadership and long-term talent development in Yorkshire.

Rothschild & Co is similarly intensifying its presence in the North, appointing Samantha Beach as a director and client advisor in Manchester. Beach, who joins from Barclays Private Bank with over 20 years of experience, will work alongside Peter Hindle to leverage the firm’s integrated Global Advisory and Arrowpoint divisions. The Manchester hub, which has grown to over 20 staff since its inception, remains central to the firm's ambition of doubling assets under management, a milestone it has largely achieved over the past six years.

In the Midlands, BRI Wealth Management has tapped former Rathbones Group CEO Paul Stockton as a non-executive director. Stockton, a veteran with over 30 years in the sector, joins as the firm seeks to scale its £800 million asset base through both organic growth and acquisitions. CEO Dan Boardman-Weston highlighted that Stockton’s strategic background will be instrumental as the firm navigates its next phase of development.
