Luc Bernard Takes Helm at Natixis Services India

Bernard takes over from Nilesh Iyer, who departed the organization to pursue external opportunities. In his new capacity, Bernard reports directly to Cécile de Sousa, chief operating officer for Asia Pacific and Middle East, and Etienne Huret, who oversees the firm's Portugal and India hubs.

His appointment marks a return to familiar ground. Bernard served on the board of directors for Natixis Services in India from 2021 to 2025 and previously held the title of executive director and head of CIB operations and IT. With nearly two decades of experience spanning software engineering, financial markets, and digital transformation, he is tasked with deepening the Bangalore hub’s integration into the bank's global infrastructure. Before joining the Natixis IT team in 2014, he worked as a software developer at Société Générale and Partners Advisers SA. He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Brest and an executive MBA from HEC Paris.
