Luc Bernard Named CEO of Natixis Services India

Bernard succeeds Nilesh Iyer, who departed the organization to pursue other interests. Reporting to Cécile de Sousa, COO for Asia Pacific & Middle East, and Etienne Huret, head of the firm's Portugal and India hubs, Bernard brings nearly two decades of expertise in offshoring strategies, software engineering, and digital transformation to the position.

His history with the bank is extensive. Before his recent tenure as head of IT production for Natixis Investment Managers in Paris, Bernard played a foundational role in establishing the Bangalore hub, serving as executive director and head of CIB operations and IT from 2021 to 2025. His background includes software development roles at Société Générale and Partners Advisers SA, complemented by an executive MBA from HEC Paris.

De Sousa noted that Bernard's return coincides with the hub’s five-year anniversary, emphasizing his familiarity with the firm’s internal processes as a critical asset for future growth. The appointment arrives as Natixis continues to refine its global technology strategy, balancing the integration of AI-driven tools with the operational demands of its international service centers.
